Commercial Projects

Summary: 2D Arcade style game consisting of five different genres connected through a story about a kid growing up in the suburbs.

Engine: Unity

Company: Hi-Bit Studios / Reset Media

My Role: Programming / Tech Design Intern.

I worked on nearly every aspect of the game, but focused primarily on Gameplay/System programming and Gameplay Design / Implementation, handling the PC version as well as the PS4 port

Doodle Drifter

Summary: Doodle Drifter is a 2D platformer for Android phones, utilising touch controls to paint Doodles path as it traverses several gorgeous landscapes.

Engine: Unity

Team Size: 10 People

Time: 4 weeks production time

My Role: Programmer / Designer.
I focused mostly on system design and worked on Camera/level management and support systems.

Out Of The Abyss

Summary: Out Of The Abyss is a roguelike FPS with randomised levels and equipment.

Engine: Unity

Team Size: 10 People

Time: Six and a half weeks production time

My Role:  Programmer / Designer.
I worked mostly on the weapon mechanics, enemy AI/animation/scripting and VFX implementation.

Little Reaper

Summary: Little Reaper is a 2D platformer in which you shoulder the mantle of deaths daughter, trying to undo a cataclysmic event and save her father.

Engine: Unreal

Team Size: 10 People

Time: 4 weeks production time

My Role: Programmer / Designer.
I worked mostly on Level management, Animation and VFX implementation, Sound implementation.

Throwmotion

Summary: Throwmotion is a 2 – 4 player party game, combining the gracious movements of figureskating with the chaotic action of dodgeball.

Engine: Unreal

Team Size: 8 people

Time: 2 weeks of production

My Role: Programmer / Designer.
My focus was mostly on the “combat” of the game with aiming and firing dodgeballs, as well as implementing associated effects. Besides this i also had a hand in the character movement, effects and tuning.

Summary: A Custom level designed for the Game “Skylar & Plux, Adventure on Clover Island”

Norn

Summary: Norn is a VR experience / Tech Demo where you assume the role of one of two sisters and live out a day in a nordic inspired fantasy setting.

Engine: Unreal

Team Size: 7 People

My Role: Programmer / Designer.
My main focus areas were Interaction designs, The VR full body Rig and setup, AI/Animation implementation.
